A Louisiana Lions club was one of the charter clubs that started Lions Clubs International in 1917.

Today the LA Lions have over 5500 members and over 200 clubs.

Lions Clubs International is the largest non-profit organization in the world.

The LA Lions have two major state projects; one is the LA Lions Eye Foundation and the other is the LA Lions Crippled Children Camp.

The Lions of Louisiana also support the Lions Clubs International programs like Sight First II, Leader Dog, and many other great programs.

On the local level, MD-8’s commitment is to members of our community.

To learn more about the LA Lions, please click on the MD-8 link or you may contact the District Governor in the district where you live. Please check the state map and the District Governors list below the map.
